冰岛科波沃市简介

　　冰岛首都雷克雅未克市及其周边地区共有6个城市，其中就有科波沃 (Kopavogur, 25,803),
　　科波沃是冰岛第二大城市，该城市于20世纪40年代发展起来，科波沃市政当局想方设法将各种商业形式引入该市，并且取得了很大的成绩。科波沃以拥有冰岛最大的购物市场为荣，并拥有一些小型的工业企业。每2年，科波沃都举办一个食品博览会。1999年冰岛传统的渔业博览会（世界最大规模的渔业博览会之一）就是在科波沃开始举办的。旅游业成为了该市越来越重要的产业。来自世界各地的旅游者常常来这里徒步旅行或者垂钓。科波沃几乎与首都雷克亚未克融为一体，很难区分边界。

　　Kopavogur is a fast growing town and the second largest of the country. It has been developing since the forties. The municipal authorities have gone out of their way to attract all kinds of businesses and have been quite successful. The town boast of the biggest mall of the country and many small industries and other undertakings. Every second year a big food exhibition is held in town. In 1999 the tradition of The Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition, one of the biggest in the world, was started in Kopavogur. Participants and guests come from all over the world. Tourism plays an increasingly important role and there are many interesting places for the outdoors minded, such as hiking trails and fishing lakes. The town merges into the capital, so it is very difficult to see the boundaries between them.
