“绿水青山”铸就“金山银山”

　　南昌地处中国中部、长江中下游，是江西省的省会。南昌是一座历史名城、山水都城和现代新城。2006年6月，南昌被美国《新闻周刊》评为“世界十大动感都会”。
　　一、 促进经济发展与环境美化同步，实施可持续发展战略
　　南昌在发展中确定了一个坚定的理念，那就是：既要“金山银山”，更要“绿水青山”，这样才是可持续发展。
　　1、实行大开放的主战略，通过对外开放直接和国际经济接轨，尽可能地加快经济的发展，一批世界500强和国内200强企业进入了南昌。
　　2、实行新型工业化战略，用高新技术来改造传统产业，如机械制造、化工等产业，降低成本和能耗、污染；同时直接引进高新技术产业。
　　二、通过城市环境的提升促进经济的发展，保证城市的可持续发展
　　南昌市行之有效的做法是“规划、建设、管理”。
　　1、高起点规划。围绕“历史名城、山水都城、现代新城”的战略目标，依托南昌良好的生态环境，做好城市规划，大力彰显“一江两岸、南北双城、滨江依湖、文化名城”特色。
　　2、高标准建设。近几年来，南昌市集中财力，累计投资近200亿元，完成城市基础设施建设项目200个。主要包括：改造小街巷，创建文明街巷；发挥水城优势，抓好涉水工程；开展城市绿化，打造园林特色；推进美化、亮化，提升城市品位；结合创建工作，抓好“三废”治理等。
　　3、高水平的管理。一是建立健全管理机制。二是全面整治市容环境。三是坚决整治环境污染。

Green Hills and Blue Waters Create Golden Mountains and Silver Mountains

　　Nanchang, located at central China and in the middle and lower reaches of Changjiang River, is a provincial city of Jiangxi. Nanchang is a historical famous city, hill and water urban and modern new city. In June 2006, Nanchang is appraised as World Top Ten Dynamic Cities by US News Weekly.
　　Ⅰ Promote economic development and environment beautifying in step and implement sustainable development strategy．
　　During development, Nanchang confirms a firm concept that is not only to seek for golden mountains and silver mountains, but also to seek for green hills and blue waters, which is just sustainable development.
　　1. Perform main strategy of large opening, directly connect with international economy through Opening-door Policies and accelerate economic development as much as possible. A series of world top 500 enterprises and domestic top 200 enterprises enter into Nanchang.
　　2. Perform new-type industrialization strategy, reform traditional industries with high technologies, i.e.: mechanical manufacture, chemical industries and other industries, reduce cost and energy consumption and pollution; meanwhile, directly introduce high-technology industries.
　　Ⅱ Promote economic development through advancement of city environment and ensure sustainable development of city
　　Effective measurement of Nanchang City is planning, constructing and managing.
　　1. High-starting planning. Perform around strategy target of Historical Famous City, Hill and Water Urban and Modern New City, depend on good ecological environment of Nanchang, well make urban planning and put efforts to show characteristics of One River and Two Banks, South-North Two Cities, Near River and Lake and Cultural Famous 　　City.
　　2. High-standard construction. For these years, Nanchang City has concentrated financial resources, invested nearly 20 billion Yuan, and accomplished 200 construction projects for urban foundation facilities. It mainly includes: reconstructing small streets and lanes, creating civilization streets and lanes, exerting advantage of water city and well accomplishing projects concerning water; performing urban greening and setting up characteristic of gardens and forests; promoting beautifying and lighting and advancing urban style; well performing Three Waste treatment combining with established work and etc.
　　3. High-level management. Firstly, set up complete management system; secondly, completely control urban environment; thirdly, be firm in treating environment pollution.
